Clumsy has been entertaining audiences for over 30 years. His journey began at just three years old after being inspired by his very first circus visit. By the age of seven, he was already performing magic shows at his mother’s playgroup — a passion that soon grew into performing at children’s birthday parties across England.

In 1993, Clumsy got his big break with Billy Smart’s Circus, marking the start of an incredible career that took him to some of Europe’s finest and largest circuses, including The Hungarian State Circus in Budapest.

Over the next two decades, Clumsy became a well-known face in the circus world, delighting audiences across the continent. In 2008, he was honoured with the title of Best Auguste Clown.

During his career, Clumsy has performed for some truly distinguished audiences — including Mary McAleese, President of Ireland, in her home, as well as the Duchess of York and the Duchess of Norfolk. His celebrity clients have included Ronnie Wood (The Rolling Stones), Nigel Benn, Frank Bruno, Katie Price & Peter Andre, Bobby Davro, Rick Astley, Su Pollard, and the late Rik Mayall and Victoria Wood. He’s also shared the stage with the pop group Steps, among many others.

In addition to his comedy and circus skills, Clumsy has also worked as a stunt performer, appearing in daring stunt shows and illusions with Monster Stunts.
